Title:  Buyer/Planner

Location: Woburn, MA

Duration: Temp to Perm           

Responsible for planning and executing supply chain requirements to support the systems business goals of:

• 95% on-time delivery to customer requested date

• 95% on time delivery from suppliers

• Inventory turns of 18        

• Zero quality escapes

• 99% supplier quality performance.

 Skills/Experience:

• Implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives such as kaizen, value Stream mapping , root cause analysis techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Production environment team involvement with a strong sense of personal and team responsibility.
• Three years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing company, which includes buying transactions and planning transactions utilizing an MRP system.

• BA/BS
