Title:  Senior Product Engineer

Location: Southern, MA

Duration: Permanent                  

The primary role of this position will be to lead the product engineering activities for a line of electro-mechanical automation equipment in a multi-disciplinary, fast-pasted, international team environment. 

 Responsibilities:

• Leading cross-disciplinary teams responsible for sustaining engineering for existing electro-mechanical automation equipment
• Perform failure evaluations and develop corrective actions on production and field failure issues
• Product Data Management for existing product and new product introductions 
• Manage vendors to ensure accurate and timely production procurement
• Cost reduction activities on existing products
• Develop processes to improve the sustaining engineering function including: including internal and external product support; implementation of variations to existing products base on market needs

 Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to lead multi-discipline technical teams
• Proven ability to manage production data of electro-mechanical products
• Strong analytical problem solving ability

  Experience Required:

• Minimum 8 years Engineering experience
• Proven experience leading a product engineering group
• Experience managing production date in a commercial PDM system

  Education Required:

• BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
